The Saturdays Can’t Find a Gentleman (apparently)

A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find
A real husband is so 1999, so hard for a girl to find (What)
Cause most guys just hit it and quit it
And then they wonder why most girls just spit it
A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find

I’m sorry but this is honestly the worst song that I’ve ever heard.

What the hell do the Saturdays think they are doing? Not only are these lyrics defamatory to men around the world (including Marvin Humes), but they are disgusting. I do not need to hear this at 7.30 on a Wednesday morning. The song then goes on to this gem of a verse:

I need a Ryan Gosling, I need a Robert Pattinson

Somebody I can take to Mama, I need to find my Obama

I need a Jonas Brother and, how about a Denzel Washington?
I need a Kellen Lutz, and a Channing Tatum, throw ’em my way, I’ll date ’em
I need a Drake, I need a Ludacris, I need a Wheezy, I don’t care who he is
Heard ’em say I need a Kanye, he ain’t a gentleman, but I’ll have him anyway
George Clooney, Lamar Odom, Larry King, I like ’em older
All the gentleman from all around the world, holla at me, holla at me, let me be your girl

Larry King. Really? And then they shriek that they basically don’t care about finding a gentleman as they will happily take Kanye West as a baby daddy (they’re all knocked up, no?) They literally say that they don’t care who he is. What a great message to send out into the saturated mess that is Pop Music. I can’t believe they had the audacity to include THE RULER OF THE FREE WORLD, MR PRESIDENT, BARACK OBAMA in this round-up. Michelle gon whoop yo’ ass.

Just shut up, Saturdays. Your significant others must be so proud of you.
