Christmas Countdown: DIY Christmas Pillows

This post is part of my Christmas Countdown series and you can read the previous post here

Who doesn’t love a seasonal pillow? I’m in the throes of passion with my sewing machine and I see no end to our sordid affair. Back in October (yes, I’m THAT guy) I whipped up these cushion covers to add a little something-something to my festive living room décor. I bought the fabric from eBay (here and here) for a pretty reasonable price! My theme this year is red, cream and gold and these fabrics are just the ticket! Don’t they look smashing!

This was the 2nd time I had tried an envelope closing and I think I did a stand-up job, even if I do say so myself! All four pillows are roughly the same size and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! There’s nothing like a Scandinavian print and some reindeer to get you in a festive mood!
