Christmas Countdown: The Party Season

This post is part of my Christmas Countdown series and you can read the previous post here

Hey kids! It’s that time of year where the social calendar really is bursting at the seams. There doesn’t seen to be a Saturday night free in the run up to Christmas. Pictures are taken and then instantly uploaded to twitter & Facebook & I don’t know about you but I hate being seen in the same outfit 2 times in a row! You guy’s know I’m all about planning so when I got an email asking me to take part in the ShopStyle Christmas Giveaway you better believe that I jumped on it!

I’ve been using the ShopStyle site for ages as a way to find the clothes that I can never locate in shops! They have a huge directory of fashion items and accessories for you to browse all in one place – handy or what! They recently launched a competition to win £1000 to spend through the site and all you need to do is assemble your perfect Christmas party outfit! So without further ado, here’s my offering…

I’m totally in love with this selection. I do admit that most of it is completely out of my price range but a girl can dream, right? The dress is from Lipsy and I love the way it’s floaty without being baggy, if you get my meaning! I thought that teaming it with this lush coat by Capitol Couture would make a stylish, but warm ensemble. For accessories, you can’t go wrong with a pair of Louboutins! These Gwynitta Glitter Sandals are just gorgeous!

I fell in love with this Burberry Nubuck Python clutch the first time that I ever say it… but at £1350 it’s just a bit out of my price range. Same goes for those earrings… Noor Fares Octahedron 18ct blackened diamond & gold earrings for £9125 (gulp)!

Finally to finish the look I would curl my hair with the T3 Bodywaver and then add a bit of glam to my nails with the Rock Antique Rose Nail Art Set from Topshop.

If Santa was to gift me any of the above, I would be a very happy girl! I think this outfit would be a total winner for any Christmas event. The mix of metals along with classic cuts would make me feel £1million bucks (even though I was only wearing £11,676.53 HA!)

I’ve added this whole look to a board on my Pinterest page if you fancy having a look there! If you fancy having a go then you can find more details on how to enter here.
