Sew Your Own Wardrobe

Hello my pretties!! I’m undertaking a very exciting project… Over the next 12 months I’m, going to attempt to sew my own wardrobe! What does this mean? Well every month I will make a piece of clothing for myself which I will obviously show on this here blog! I feel like this is the next step in my sewing adventure and I couldn’t be more excited… or determined.

So what can you, lovely reader, expect? Well each month I will have 2 posts on this challenge: One for what I plan to sew and the other on how it turned out. I’m hoping that there will be more successes than fails but I would just like to point out right now that this could really go either way. I now direct you to the image below to prove how far I really have to go to make it as a seamstress.

Please excuse the messy hair, slippers and washing in the background. Real life, Yo!

Yes, this was me trying to make a simple pair of pyjama bottoms. This is widely known as the easiest pattern in the book… I may have made a few measuring errors.

So join me on this quest to become a master adequate dressmaker! There will be lots of lovely fabric pictures and I can just about promise more fails like the one above. Wish me luck!
